Original Item: Only One Available. This is an excellent example of the standard Artillery Enlisted Man’s Uniform Coat and Trousers used from 1885 to 1902. Perfect for the Indian Wars or Spanish-American War collector!
The Model 1885 Enlisted Infantry Full Dress Coat is made of dark blue wool, with eight buttons sewn in a single column. Each button is marked “SCOVILLE MF’G CO. WATERBURY”. The facings (cuff flaps, shoulder straps, collar) are made of red velvet, with red piping along the front of the coat and tail. The cuffs feature three smaller versions of the large buttons, and back of the coat has two large size buttons at the waist.
